Alrighty, this app is definitely for all you competitive types. What you do is check-in from the app and it shows your friends where you are. The competitive part is that whoever checks in the most within a 2 month period becomes the MAYOR of that place! Wow. Won't that look amazing on your resume? Currently, I'm the mayor of Baldwin EMC and Errybane Acres and have definite plans on taking over other places soon.
(kudos to LeeAnn for hooking me up on this one)
Get the app! http://foursquare.com
For Men Who Can't Pee
Are you a man? Are you a man that sometimes has problems peeing when you want to and peeing when you don't want to? Well check out the spanner! (http://thespanner.com)
Beardheads
I often like to grow my beard out. The problem is that it can be so hard to maintain! Now I can look like a lumberjack without all of the hassle! Finally a product worth buying! (http://www.snorgtees.com/beardheads-by-beardhead)
It's not a Toomer
(don't get the reference, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BANkMaLJaY4)

I just wanted to take a second and pay my respects to the trees at Toomer's Corner. Rivalry is something that should be fun and respectful, not criminal. Bama fans and Auburn fans alike share one common bond, tradition. This is one tradition that I am sad to see attacked like this. Let's hope that the trees make it and that this guy pays for his crime.

Engagement
Well it's official, my bro and my sister are both engaged at the same time. I'm so happy for the both of them and am happy to be bringing LeeAnn and Brandon into our crazy family.
This Sunday (superbowl sunday), my wife and I were invited to attend a "couples shower" for my brother and his fiance and my mom had some interesting games for them to play. One of them involved making a tuxedo and dress out of toilet paper, look at the results below:
(I did this one...lol)
Mickey Ferguson is the best Weatherman Alive!
Mickey Feguson (http://www.myfoxal.com/Global/story.asp?S=10550446) is the lead forecaster for Good Day Alabama and FOX6 News at Noon in Birmingham, AL. He has a very unique way of doing the weather that, in my opinion, is the way every weatherman should strive to be like. Don't take my word for it, check him out below:
My Word of the Week
As some of you already know, I like to come up with my own words and see if I can get them to catch on. This week I replaced the word "crap" with the word "crepe". Don't know what a "crepe" is, check out how to make one here: http://www.ifood.tv/recipe/how_to_make_crepes_0.
Examples of this word in use: "Aw Crepe", "What in the crepe is that?", "Don't crepe your pants", you get the idea. Now go and use this word carelessly!

Every Friday I will take the weeks “Hot Topics” in my life and post them here for you to check out. Feel free to comment and let me know what you think. Since this is my very first blog post, I’ll start off with just a couple of things that I have rumbling around in my head….
Trippin’
I saw this the other day at work and thought it was pretty comical. Our cleaning crew came in to steam clean the carpets and when we came in the next morning, the carpets were a little damp and there was a sign (pictured below) that said “Caution Wet Floor”. I’d really like to meet the guy that can slip on damp carpet.
Closed Captioning
Youtube recently announced that they have a new feature available when watching videos online, Closed Captioning. The technology behind it is pretty amazing if you think about it. The computer processes the audio and translates that to text for the hearing impaired, pretty awesome right? Well, unfortunately the hearing impaired may view videos a little differently than anyone else. Check this video out…
Glawesome
Here's where the word glawesome came from:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtGHC87lmP4
@ 4:26 in the video Justin says, "I'll take some of that gloss."
@ 4:26 in the video Justin says, "I'll take some of that gloss."
I laughed and said, "That was so awesome..."
Then I corrected myself and said, "No, it was glawesome."
Thus the word glawesome was born.
Thus the word glawesome was born.
